"This has been the hardest year for me professionally," says Bertha Sadler Means Young Women's Leadership Academy science teacher Nora Fallon. Millions of students and teachers experienced a year of empty classrooms. The global pandemic impacted their learning, their work, their social life, and more. For some people, it was a very difficult and negative experience, while others learned to enjoy and strive when everything moved online. Now that the world is slowly returning back to normal, some schools still provide opportunities to learn remotely. We invited teachers from Austin Independent School district to discuss what impact did this experience have on them as professionals and their students.
