Groups such as Black Voters Matter and the Next Generation Action Network had protests, marches, seminars, rallies and more to honor and remember George Floyd a year after he was killed. Organizers said there’s a way to change a police culture that too often victimizes Black people. Activists added more regular people have to get involved. In Houston the George Floyd Foundation hosted a commemorative march in Floyd's honor on May 30 as a reminder of the continued fight for #JusticeforGeorge and so many others that have lost their lives unjustly.
